Centella 3% PHA Gentle Liquid Exfoliating Serum

Ultra-Gentle Exfoliation (PHA): the Lactobionic Acid (3% PHA) is a larger molecule than AHAs, meaning it acts only on the surface of the skin and is much gentler. It's ideal for sensitive skin or for those just starting out with chemical exfoliation.

Soothing Base (Centella 55%): The formula uses Centella Asiatica Extract (55%) as a base, which provides strong anti-inflammatory and repairing properties, minimizing irritation caused by exfoliation.

Barrier Reinforcement: The inclusion of lipid components identical to skin, such as Cholesterol and Fatty Acids helps ensure that the skin barrier is not compromised during exfoliation.

Cleansing and Toning: After cleansing your face and using a toner (if applicable), make sure your face is dry or only slightly damp.

Applies: Dispense 2 to 3 drops of the serum into the palm of your hand.

Pass Gently: Spread and gently apply the serum to your face, avoiding the eye and lip area.

Absorption: ently pats the product to help it absorb into the skin. No rinsing is necessary.

Hydration: Continue with your usual moisturizer to seal in hydration and soothe the skin.

Crucial Brand Notes on Usage:

• Frequency: Although PHA is mild, the brand recommends that you start using this serum 2 to 3 times a week and increase gradually, if necessary. If you have very sensitive skin, use it only at night.
  
• Sun Protection: is mandatory that you use a sunscreen(SPF 30 or higher) during the day, as exfoliation (even gentle exfoliation) increases the skin's sensitivity to the sun.
  
• Compatibility: Due to its mild nature, this PHA may be better tolerated with other active ingredients (such as Retinol), but it is recommended that you use it in separate routines to minimize the risk of irritation.
